| There is no way to cheat a slot machine. Your best bet would be to check out the "Latest Jackpots" List and stay away from those ones...oh also if your playing next to someone who is playing same type of machine and same denomination, and that person is winning, move on to a different type of slot...good luck. |

I can tell you right now that you should avoid slots if you want to avoid losing money. If you look at your basic slot machine that has 3 reels, each reel has about 22 symbols (blanks count as symbols), the machine then is programmed with "virtual stops" which increases the number of symbols to 66 per reel by using the symbols more than once. That means your chances of hitting the jackpot are about 1 in 286,000 because the jackpot symbols are only used once in the programming where the smaller symbols may be used several times. Also, contrary to what many people believe, you do not have better odds the more you play the machine. The computer inside resets every single time you play a game so that on every spin your odds are still 1 in about 286,000 that you will hit the jackpot. There is no way around this. The odds are even worse on the video slots.
One thing to note though is that the high dollar slots are your better odds. Dollar machines, 5 dollar machines, and up are programmed with a higher payback percentage. Even then your odds are still the same as any other machine. |

| No there is not strategy. You just have to find a lucky machine. Timing is everything. One time I was going to play this slot machine but I changed my mind and played the one next to it. Guess what a guy sits down and hits a jackpot for a $1000 and I was so pissed. |

Yes you can win on slot machines. (You can also lose, but I won't get into that.)
As far as strategy:
Hitting the top prize has the same odds no matter how many credits you play. So play for the maximum payout.
Example:
If the top prize for 1 credit played is 500.
And the top prize for 2 credits played is 1500.
Then play 2 credits. |

| The slot machines near the doors and aisle are more likely to go off as they are more visible to the public to entice players. The other thing is always play the max. And leave "Quit Playing" if you hit it big. |
