| There is no strategy for roulette or slots. They are suckers games. You bet, usually lose, sometimes win and don't actually play anything. Poker is to complicated a game for me to describe on this. I would suggest reading a poker book. |

While plenty of people have lots of strategies for roulette and slots, there is no strategy that can ensure winning at either (that's why there are all those nice big casinos all over).
Poker is a game of skill more than luck, but you must first learn to play the various kinds of poker and concentrate on the ones you like best. You should read some poker books and practice at some of the on-line poker sites that you can play for free until you are willing to risk some money.
For most of us, roulette and slots are just a way to have a good time, and maybe get lucky once in a while. |

As for poker, if you really want to play it well, you should find a book. The strategies are too complicated to say here. Roulette and Slots are too random to have strategies.
The best games in Vegas are Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker (you don't win a lot, but you don't lose much either, it's a great game to sit around and get drunk) and Craps. |

My strategies?:
Roulette: Don't play it. Not only is it based purely on luck, but to the 1-36 numbers and the green "0", American roulette wheels adds a second slot for a house win -- the "00" (European roulette has only the one "0"). So odds are badly in the house's favor compared to the 1-35 direct hit payout (odds are only 1/37 to win).
Slots: Absolutely no skill involved, and the odds are mechanically controlled by whatever house is setting them -- and they vary greatly, even between times of day!!
Poker: Now THERE's a game. Especially since in true poker, there is no house, and you're playing against other players. Skill against skill (plus equal luck) alone. And I'm not good enough to play it! |
