The phone is a GSM unlocked phone. And i want to get it online (is that safe should i trust it?) My friend has a chocolate but earlier we couldnt find a sim slot or card… so whats up with that also? I was told since its GSM i could, but i want to double check before i spend the money.

Yes, the phone will work, but it will not be able to get online…Sorry, I dod the same thing

Provided the phone is unlocked, technically you can add it to any network. Also I see that this is a tri-band 2G phone (GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900) which means that AT&T should support it for voice and data + it most likely has a SIM slot under the battery… however….
The best thing to do here is contact AT&T Directly BEFORE the purchase and make sure they support this device. The agent you speak to will be able to look up the KG800, and also tell you if they have a voice and data plan that will support the device (you will need a data plan to get online).
