Question by gods_evil_twin@ymail.com: How to open a non-money slot machine?
My kids bought me a slot machine as a present. It is just a replica and does not pay out any money just these weird coins that came with it. I have had this machine for 2 years and just recently moved. During the move the key was misplaced. I have a duplicate key inside the machine because there is away to open it with out the key. There is a panel on the back big enough to slide your hand through all the way to the lock (the key is under the coin slide so I can’t get to it.) Any ideas on what needs to be done to open it. So far I found a bar that slides up and down, but nothing else that needs to be maneuvered. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is my grand children’s favorite toy but the switch is on the inside out of my reach as welll.

Take it to a locksmith and have them pick it open.

I know this may seem like a n00b question, but anyway:

I don’t know what type of AGP slot I have – and I don’t have the motherboard manual to find out – I tried looking online for it, but couldn’t find anything decent

What is the best card that I can get for my money – I just want to play some decent 3D games – but I don’t know if I need a 512MB card, (or even if it will be any use to me).

Would it be better to buy a card that has say: 256MB RAM, but fast transfer speeds – or 512MB and lower transfer speeds?

Thanks for any advice…..:-)
Another note: my PSU is only 450W, so that limits my range – but what is the best that I can get in this range?

Find out exactly which AGP card is compatible with your motherboard first. Then decide on which card is which.

Try downloading Everest (Lavalys). It should tell you exactly what type of AGP slot you have

lol, no. Try roulette if you know nothing about gambling. Otherwise, learn poker and you can actually play with some positive “ev”(expected value). Blackjack and Bacarat are borderline if you are an expert so.. I would have to go with slightly less than like 47% or so on your money by just doing black and red in roulette. You can also try something like a Martingale strategy although it won’t work in the long term. However, you might squeeze in a bit of profit. Look it up. But don’t think that it will work forever. That would be MUCH MUCH better than slots though. Hope this helps.

I’m 21 yr old male… I’m addicted to online poker, poker at the casino. and sometimes video slot machines and dog tracks. When i go out to eat at the diner i can’t resist not to play keno. I do not do scratch tickets anymore. I rather gamble my money away then buy a new pair of jeans. Which comes to think about it I only have one good pair. I lost 7 grand in football bettin 2 years ago… this year well i’ll proably be back at it again… I tryed GA (gamblers anoynmous) but it was a big joke. I have a bad habit and I’m trying to quit. Maybe i’m young and will realize my problem?

you should try going to a therapist, and when u said GA was a joke, you should reconsider if you followed the 12 steps to the best of your abilitly and found a sponsor who was dedicated. there are gambling hotlines you can call when you feel the urge. 1-800 gambler is one

ABC sobataged that show from the beginning. They gave it a decent timeslot, but not a decent start. When the second episode aired, it was the day before Thanksgiving, when most of the show’s target audience was away and traveling. Plus, the protaganist is an African American man who has a relationship with a white woman. They didn’t want to cause a fiasco by denying the show any face time so they sabotaged the airing. They have halted the show after airing seven episodes with all of the thirteen episodes already produced. The money’s been spent, they may as well be aired. It doesn’t really matter which slot it’s in, just as long as they air it. When they took the show off the air, they claimed they’d cater to fans of the show by putting the rest of the episodes online. Now, they’ve taken the already-aired episodes down, showing that they probably have no intention of keeping their word. I for one think that the only good show ABC’s got left is Lost now. Sucks for them.

I’d love to see how the show ends. I was also disappointed that they referred to it as a seasonally replacement and cut it from the schedule. If abc was going to do that and say it was for lack of ratings, they would have been better off just airing reruns of other programs. I too looked online for the remainder of the episodes, all ready to find out how Hopper would spend his next “day”. ABC needs to keep their word and put them online.

Like an idiot I was withdrawing money from the banks ATM and I was in such a hurry to get home for my and my mom’s birthday that I grabbed the money and receipt but forgot to wait for the card to come out of the slot! That was at 3:45 and then at 8:00 I realized I forgot it at the ATM. I quickly drove there and of course it wasn’t in the slot and the bank was closed. I called and canceled my account but I don’t have online banking to check if someone took money from it because my sister used online banking and someone stole 2k from her account that way. She got the money back though but I was wondering if someone actually took my card could I get my money back as well? I’m going to go to the bank first thing tomorrow to see if anyone turned it on or put it in the deposit box but I doubt anyone is that honest these days. it can be used as a credit as well so anyone could use it if they find it. so could I get my money back in time if any was taken out?
Soccerref: Actually the customer service guy said he couldn’t check to see my statement but I think he just didn’t want to do it. lol

If you left the card in the ATM and no one else showed up and took it, the machine will pull the card back into it after a few minutes. You can pick it up from the bank on Mon if that is the case.

If someone did get ahold of it and they did charge items on it you most likely will get the money back. Just notify the bank ASAP. Also, check on the bank website. They most likely have some number you can call to report the lost card on the weekend.

If you win a large amount of money on a cruise line and you are paid in American currency,do you have to pay taxes on it? You are in the ocean and not on American soil but still its American currency. I went on a cruise 2 months ago and won $ 2500 at the slot machine on the boat.

Hard Drive (its enugh for me)

880MB DDR SDRAM (its supposed to be one gig but its shared)

Video Memory
Um since total is 1024MB then means its possible 144MB or 128MB, i dunno :S

Now pretend you were in my situation, meaning you had exacly the same comp as me, would you:
1) wait 2-3 years to get a new computer
2) spend sum little money now and get a better video card to enjoy the time of wait till a new computer

Advantages of a video card:
1) be able to play most games
2) finally have full 1gig ram

If yes, can you recommend sum cheap video card under 100 bucks in retail stores (not online cuz they dont ship to canada -.-)

well i live in canada too, but i dunno where in canada you live in. if you’re in toronto e-mail me to give you some stores so you can get a cheap video card. ok now, PCI-express if perfect because you get a nice and cheap video card for it, the more you spend the better you buy but its your choice, so for 100 bucks i would probably get a nvidia 6800 xt, i would live the computer for now, it looks good enough to me, i think if u get the video you’ll be fine for a year or 2, but i still recommend if you can, to save up some more money, up to 300 bucks, 400 bucks would better and get a really nice video card like the 8800 series, and slowly upgrade your pc, cuz ur gonna keep the video card anyway if you get a really good one. i think all u need right now is a video card, if you get a really good one like the 8800 series, it would be perfect. i dont think spending 100 is worth it still. waste of money. but its ur choice.
