Ok, I went for the FIRST TIME to the casino this weekend...yea...I lost every penny : (
I think it's b/c I had zero plan or strategy when I walked in.
What do you do to win money at the slots?

The biggest area is for the biggest money earner for the Casino. If you see a lot of slot machines, they are the easiest for you to loose at.

The best way to win is to be extremely lucky. One method I use in Las Vegas is to start with 100 dollar coins. Sit at a machine and put in the max bet (usually 2-3 coins). Play all 100 coins, then hit the cash out button. The usual payback in Vegas is around 97-98% so when you cash out you should have anywheres from 90-110. Put anything you have made over and above the 100 in your pocket and dont touch it. Take the 100 to another machine and do it again. If you win big, cash out the win, put it in your pocket and continue with the original amount you had. At the end of the day, count your winnings and decide weather you want to play your winnings or take them home. I have been tempted to take my winnings when I hit $500-1000 and go to a 5.00 or 10.00 machine and go for a big score.

The best winning strategy for slots is not to play. No one can win consistently. Have you ever noticed how all the casinos are going out of business? Me neither. If you play against the house you will lose.

What you do is play one coin. When you win move up to two coins. When you win move up to three coins. When you win drop back to one coin.

Best strategy for slots is not to leave that machine until you win, but then you might win less than you put in, so the best stratedy would be not to play slots

Consider playing games like poker that you can actually win consistently by mastering the game. But this is easier said than done.

I read somewhere that you should play machines that are close to the entrance/exit, as those are programmed to pay more since the casino want them to "buzz" and attract customers from the outside.
