Question by Frank Castello: Had an incredible run in blackjack lately but now starting to give it all back? Who’s been through this?
I used to go to the casino a lot early last year to play mainly slots and sometimes the poker rooms. I was never into blackjack mainly because of seeing my friend getting crushed at the tables all the time. If i ever feel like gambling or have money to gamble i usually like to play poker online usually because i never win playing poker or slots at the casino. And to add at that, i can’t even beat the game no matter what site it is because someone always sucks out or when i have Q’s or K’s someone has the bullets and we get it all in preflop.

Anyways i thought i would try the casinos again this year and yesterday was about my 8th trip in a month. I had decided to try blackjack instead of the other games playing basic strategy and the first five trips there i have won about four to five hundred each trip. Had over k at one time but the rest of the trips including yesterday’s i went on a losing streak and am down to about a 1/3 of my roll. I knew it was bound to happen, but i feel like this game has the best chance out of any other game for me as i have never had a streak like this. So should i go and risk the rest of my profits to come up or just keep what i have made off of them? How many of you actually chased ur losses and got there?

The other day I found a casino with different bonuses depending on the type of game that you play. I can’t remember which casino it was, but why would online casinos have different bonuses depending on the type of game you like to play? Doesn’t make much sense to me.

I answered your other question. All the casinos listed there are great for blackjack and slots.

The reason why the bonuses are different is because each game has a different house edge, meaning theoretically some games result in bigger house winnings per dollar wagered by the bettor.

For example, slots are a particularly bad bet when compared to video poker. For this reason, casinos are more generous when giving bonuses and comps to slot players.

Question by Curious: Is it dumb to play blackjack online?
I’m thinking about playing some blackjack online, but for the same reason I won’t play the computerized slot machines at a casino (I think they’re rigged), I’m wondering if playing blackjack for money online is a bad idea. If you can recommend an honest site (assuming such a thing exists), I’d appreciate it.

It’s not a bad idea as long as you’re not paying any real money to play. Gambling sites, in my opinion, are rigged for the most part

Hi. Does anyone know if there is a game that lets you play blackjack and/or slot machines on your tv set at home? My Dad used to love to go to the casino but cant get out anymore. He is not into using the downloads you can use on a computer so we are looking for something he can maybe play on his tv at home. Thanks.

It’s something that I’m not familiar with at this time but I’ve heard of gambling definitely coming to your television screen. I’m not sure where you live but I know in the united states i don’t see htis happening because they are trying to put online poker on lock down because they are sick of credit companies taking hits of people maxing their cards and than filing bankruptcy or asking for some debt relief.
The home tv screen gambling souds European to me, i can definitely see that going on over there.
