Slot 2 on the bottom is for game boy advance games. the ds lite can play games using the ds cards, or game boy games.

That’s a tough price point. I’d say a 9800GTX+ or an HD5670 is your best bet.

I was at an arcade at my local mall today and they added one of my favorite games, Tekken 5. But i looked at the machine and above the player 1 and player 2 buttons, there was a card slot but no explanation of what is was for. its like a ranking system it keeps tarck of how much you play and how much you win it kinda pointless unless you ar into that kinda thing if you gamble in a casino they have them there as well and use them to build points and get free stuff. the place that has the machine should have cards but they don’t have to carry them its like a memory card for your home system

First Question) I saw old questions saying that the PS3 could play PS2 and PS games, but my sister that lives far away from me says that her PS3 won’t play her PS2 games. Is it any different for the NEW PS3′s. If it is, do you need a attachment?

That card won’t fit. You need a low profile card.

I havent really tried yet. I am curious to know if i will be able to play homebrew and rom ds games through an sd card reader in the advance slot. The reader works, and it is simply a matter of downloading the game so i would assume the answer is yes. Any insights?

Not likely, since your Advance doesnt have a DS emulator, but mainly because the Advance doesnt support 3D Graphics

It is specific to one game or a family of games that are more than likely the same developer. It is just a file that contains your save information. It does have one benefit such as you can use it from one computer to the next running the same software just by copying it on another machine. Or if you are using it from a game that you plat online the developers would need a specific file to look for so it wouldn’t require the game to hunt for a file that you had named, also saving the online site alot of space by not storing someones save game themselves on a server.

You don’t. That thing is way too old to bother upgrading. Your CPU is very crummy by modern standards. You could put the best video card in the world in that thing and games would still run like crap. You’ll need a completely new computer to even have a chance.

And if you mean FF14, then be glad your computer stinks. Have you noticed all the terrible reviews for it? It’s a horrid game.
