Question by The Fred: Want to buy a 25-cent slot machine for home?
I thought it would make an unusual piggy bank. What’s the best place to buy old slot machine in Vegas? I’m a California resident, so I think to legally have one it has to be older that 25 years. I’m kinda torn between the least expensive I can find versus the old Golden Nugget ones with a naked lady on each side. I guess I need to see how low the prices go before deciding.

I have checked sites on computer and also ask about this same thing. I got 4 answers which helped but now I need to change because I’m tired of the same games. I got several on one but you have to download it and my computer can’t seem to download. That’s another subject I won’t go into.

The discount and clearance racks of office and computer supply stores almost always have casino game CD’s on sale for very low prices, often about or less. The one I bought some years back has various slots, blackjack, craps and roulette.

As all of the tourist casinos as well as the locals joints have converted to the ticket system, your only bet is some of the smaller casinos down on Fremont street that have not yet spent the money to convert the machines.

Even the poker rooms are going away from having employees (which the ticket system does) by putting in Electronic Poker talbels

First of all, is this legal? And secondly, what is a good slot machine to buy? I see that most available online only accept tokens. I want mine to accept quarters. Any suggestions?
