Mine has an Intel graphics media accelerator 950 and the 2GBs of ram it will hold.
I’m not trying to build an extreme gaming machine, I just want better overall and dvd/flash game/cd performance.
I should have said it’s a x16.

I would say minimum 8400gs. I had it and it ran any free games you throw at it. If, on the other hand, you buy pc games you should get something better but 8400gs should be fine on older games. If its over $ 20 don’t get it as you can get better ones.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 440

NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS
Mathew is right. There are lots of low end cards which would suit your needs. You don’t say how much you would like to spend so that makes it kinda hard to recommend one.
I prefer ATI/AMD cards so If it were me, i’d go with the HD6450 simply because it’s more than capable of doing what you are asking of it and it’s the latest generation which means that it draws less power and is more quite than HD5xxx series cards.

Being from America, i think you’re wisest to get it from newegg.com. From what i’ve seen and heard, they are about the best in the business when it comes to buying computer parts.

I got an amd 6850 get this or something better because it can barely play my games on medium and I have a really good central processor so I know that you need a graphics processor at least this good probably.
